HOTEL LE PAQUIS

This traditional family run hotel is located in a quiet lane in the heart of Tignes Le Lac overlooking the nursery slope and very close to the Aeroski and the Palafour ski lifts. You can enjoy dining whilst taking in the magnificent panoramic view of the lake and the Grande Motte Glacier.

The hotel rooms are decorated in the traditional Savoyard style. There are 29 well equipped rooms in the main building and there are an additional 7 rooms in a Chalet Annexe next door. Most rooms have a balcony or terrace, with a great view of the lake and the Grande Motte Glacier, the others have views of the surrounding Mountains. All rooms are fully furnished with private bath or shower and toilets, television and radio.  Internet and WIFI access are possible for an extra charge.

Prices

Your hosts, Catherine and her Mother, will give you a warm, friendly welcome and help you with any information that you require. They are descendants of a local family of "Tignardes" (descendants from the village that was engulfed by the lac de Chevil with the construction of the dam). This homely atmosphere extends itself in the living room being traditionally made from wood and stone, with the large fireplace and various family pictures and souvenirs.

In the dining room, you will enjoy the variety of refined regional meals served with fine selected wines and the panoramic view of the Glacier of Grande Motte. Buffet breakfast and five course dinner. There is also a Savoyard evening once a week.
