CHALET GRANDE TOURNE

Chalet Grande Tourne is a light, modern 8 person catered ‘chalet-apartment’, within a small residence in Tignes Le Lac.

The living area; a lounge with a roaring log fire, and dining area, leads onto a large south-facing balcony with stunning panoramic mountain views.

We have something genuinely unique on offer here: Catered chalet style holidays with doorstep skiing in a world class ski resort, all at superb value for money.

There is a ski lift just 20 metres from the front door of the residence, making it possible to ski from the chalet and back to the chalet all the way through the winter season. Chalet Grande Tourne is less than 100 metres from the buzzing centre of Tignes Le Lac, with it's many shops, supermarkets, ski schools, cinema, restaurants, cafes and leisure centre.

Menus
Your first evening in Chalet Grande Tourne starts with bubbly to toast your holiday. Evening meals are two courses of hearty and delicious food with complimentary wine. We believe that as well as looking and tasting great, the food we serve should be filling and nutritious. Our menus range from traditional English dishes such as Shepherds Pie, to traditional Savoyard specialities such as Tartiflette. Christmas will be celebrated with extra special traditional feasts.

We are happy to cater for vegetarians and those with special dietary requirements. Please let us know at the time of booking your holiday. One day each week, your chalet hosts have a day off. Breakfast and afternoon tea are provided on a self service basis. The evening is your opportunity to explore the local restaurants. We will be happy to book a table for you.

Breakfast: Start the day with a satisfying hot breakfast including boiled eggs, porridge and freshly baked croissants. Also on offer is a healthy selection of cereals, yoghurts, French bread and fruit juice, all topped off with as much English tea, fresh coffee or hot chocolate as you can drink.

Afternoon Tea: Arrive home to the chalet after a day on the mountain and enjoy tea, coffee or hot chocolate with freshly home baked cakes.

For one day of your holiday we give you the opportunity to be shown around the superb L'Espace Killy by our resident seasoned mountain host. 

Ski, snowboard and boot storage
On the ground floor of the building, in the lobby area, is a locker for the secure storage of your skis and snowboards. There is warm and dry storage within the chalet for your ski and snowboard boots.

Bedrooms and bathrooms
All beds are made up with clean linen, duvets and pillows. All bedrooms have bedside and overhead lighting in addition to natural light and mirrors.   There is ample hanging and storage space in each bedroom.
 
Bedroom 1: Double room with ensuite shower room and washbasin. Double windows with Eastern aspect give spectacular views over the mountains and Tignes Le Lac.
 
Bedroom 2: Double room with ensuite shower room and washbasin. Large windows with Eastern aspect give spectacular views over the mountains and Tignes Le Lac
 
Bedroom 3: Quadruple room comprising 2 sets of bunk beds. Large windows with Eastern aspect give spectacular views over the mountains and Tignes Le Lac
 
There is a separate bathroom for use by guests in bedroom 3, with bath, shower, washbasin and toilet. There is also a separate toilet for use by all guests.
