Chalet Tournavel is a traditional chalet and a
great place to stay for a ski holiday. It is located in a good
location in an area called Les Chartreux close to Val Claret with
easy access to the lift system. (we have had comments that the
photos suggest Tournavel is in the middle of nowhere, it isn't!)
Both Tignes le Lac and Val Claret lifts are easily accessible in a
few minutes on Tignes great bus service which stops at the end of
our drive. For apres ski it is only a 10 minute walk to the centre
of Val Claret or you can still use the bus service which operates
24/7
The chalet is very
comfortable with the benefit of a sauna. The airy lounge provides a
great room to relax in with comfortable seating, log fire and large
picture windows giving superb views of the Grande Motte glacier and

The chalet has proved to be very
popular with guests the last 2 seasons, it is ideal for groups, singles or
families with greater savings to be made if utilizing the triple bedrooms. The
chalet is surrounded by open land that is a golf course in the summer. This is a
convenient and safe snowy playground for children (and adults!) when they are
not skiing. We are delighted to have Mike & Jean running the chalet next season
as this will be their 5th season in this chalet.

low beams).
Room 2: Double with ensuite shower, basin, WC & balcony.
Ground Floor:
Room 3: Double with ensuite shower, basin & WC.
Room 4: Twin with ensuite shower, basin & WC .
Lower Ground Floor:
Room 5: Triple (3 single beds) with ensuite shower, basin & WC.
Room 6: Triple (Double plus single bed) with ensuite shower, basin &
WC.
N.B. Both these rooms are normally offered for 2 guests, if you add a
third guest this bed is offered at a discount. |

The price of the holiday
includes;
Breakfast: A selection of
cereals, bread, yoghurt, orange juice, tea and coffee will be served every
morning. In addition we serve a cooked option (e.g. french toast, scrambled
eggs, omelettes, bacon & egg) and porridge every day except the staff day
off and changeover day.
Afternoon tea: Fresh cakes,
bread, jam, tea and coffee will be set out for your return from skiing.
Dinner: A 3 course dinner is
served every evening except Thursday (staff day off). This will be a
delicious meal accompanied by a local table wine. Tea & coffee will be
served in the lounge after dinner. |

Sunday changeovers
Please note we changeover on Sundays. We do this to avoid the crowds at
the airport and on the roads. Also your last day of skiing will be a
Saturday, when most others are travelling, and the pistes are very
empty.
What is included
Prices are per person per week and based on 2 people sharing a room. The
price includes 7 nights accommodation, breakfast and afternoon tea and
three course dinner, with wine, on 6 nights. No travel is included.
Children/Extra Beds
Children aged 2-11 pay 40% of the full price when utilising an extra bed
in a room.
Children aged 12-17 pay 50% of the full price when utilising an extra
bed in a room.
Adults - pay 60% of the full price when utilising an extra bed in a
room.
Single Occupancy
We are happy to arrange for you to share with a single person from
another party. However if you prefer a room to yourself we charge a 75%
single supplement. |
